Terms & Conditions.
The rules of the road when you buy a hoop or book an experience. Plain-English where possible, properly-written where it has to be.
No. 01 Orders & Payment
All prices are in US dollars unless noted. Prices are inclusive of US sales tax where applicable; international orders may incur customs duties separately.
An order is confirmed once payment is captured and we send a confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order — for example, if a hoop is mis-priced, out of stock, or flagged for fraud. In that case we issue a full refund within 5 business days.
Pricing errors: If a hoop is listed at a price that's obviously wrong (eg. $1 for a $200 hoop), we'll contact you to offer the corrected price or cancel the order with a full refund. We don't honor obvious pricing mistakes.
No. 02 Shipping & Risk
Risk of loss passes to you when we hand the package to the carrier. We insure every Expedited and Overnight shipment up to $500.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Carriers occasionally delay — see Shipping for full timeframes.
No. 04 Experiences
Bookings are sold per person and non-transferrable. By booking, you confirm that you're physically able to participate in moderate movement and have notified us of any health conditions relevant to the experience.
Cancellations: — 7+ days before — full refund. — 3–6 days before — store credit for a future experience. — Less than 3 days — no refund or credit, unless we can fill the spot from the waitlist.
Retreats have their own cancellation schedule, set out at booking.
Assumption of risk: Movement carries risk. By attending, you confirm you're attending at your own risk and waive claims against Hipnotic for routine bruises, strains, or fatigue. We carry liability insurance for serious incidents.
No. 05 Use of the Site
You agree not to use the site to: — Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy content. — Interfere with normal operation. — Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code. — Use automated agents to make orders or claim limited drops.
No. 06 Intellectual Property
The Hipnotic name, marks, designs, photography, video, and written content are owned by Hipnotic Flow Arts. The Hipnotic Method, signature moves, and teaching formats are protected — please don't reproduce them in your own practice without a license.
If you teach using techniques you learned with us, please credit Hipnotic. If you teach a derivative practice — write to us; we usually say yes.
No. 07 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hipnotic's total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We aren't liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
